Week 3).We started the lesson marking out the base which was 100 by 20 by 5 then we marked it out with a Scriber then once it was cut I Had to mark my name then put it in the box with all the other work.
Week 4). Once I arrived in the workspace I got my base and what I had to do was file my base to exactly 100mm then make it straight then I had to scribe the base 10mm through the middle then 10mm on each side. Then I center punched my holes in the middle once I completed that I drill where I have center punched (blue drill) then after that I use the green drill the middle holes had to be drilled from the bottom and the outside holes drilled from the top.
Week 5). I cut my metal rod to 80mm and file it to exact 80mm once I did that I had to weld, to be honest, I was scared at first but with Mr. Rees helping me once I completed it I thought I don't know what I was afraid of because it wasn't even that scary.
Week 6). I started my Balance I cut it out and made it exactly 80mm then I cleaned it after that I put engineers glue on it. Afterward, I designed what I wanted my balance to look like then I used the Ban saw and cut out my design
Week 7). Cut top of balance and then filed the sides
Week 8).I cut another bar then cleaned it
Week 9) I designed my small metal rod then welded it.
Week 10) I welded my balance and smaller bar together
Week 11) I spray painted my balance and base.
