I have been working on landscapes, these are my own photos, I have been looking at Claude Monet and his work, I am using acrylic paints, these aren't completed. I have to touch up all of them and add more detail.

Language Feature: Anaphora

Anaphora: The use of a word  to you have written earlier in the text

Why is Anaphora used/what is it's affect: Anaphora is the repetition of a certain word or phrase at the beginning of successive lines of writing or speech.

Examples: 

• Every day, every night, in every way, I am getting better and better.

• My life is my purpose. My life is my goal. My life is my inspiration.

• Everything looked dark and bleak, everything looked gloomy, and everything was under a blanket of mist.

• Buying food for myself , feeding myself, hanging with myself, this is what my life is like when i'm by myself.

Language feature: Antithesis

Antithesis:a person or thing that is the direct opposite of someone or something else.

Why is Antithesis used/what is it's affect: used to strengthen an argument by using either exact opposites or simply contrasting ideas but can also include both.

Examples:

• In Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling, Dumbledore and Voldemort engage in a fiery and electric battle of the ages. They are both powerful wizards, with Dumbledore coming down on the side of good and Voldemort coming down on the side of evil.

• Speech is silver, but silence is gold.

Did i enjoy this movie: Yes, i did 

Favourite character: Mana

Least favourite: Mutt

I enjoyed this movie because it was based on a true story and was interesting how a single person could change multiple peoples lifes.

I prefferably enjoyed Mana's character the most because he just wanted to join others and his dad was part of a gang so he had a really rough life.

The reason why i disliked Mutt was because he was a douchebag

The matses tribe

Along the Javari river in the Amazon forest, the Matses tribe lived. These people, they used traditional, small-scale (slash and burn) approach to farming. Through discrimination and outside influences, the young Matses felt ashamed by their culture. Big cities lure younger Matses away from their traditional lifestyle and into urbanised poverty and exploitation.

Passion project

On the 29/11/2018 we completed our pizza,  this pizza had been shared out with a few others and received some ratings, Mr Stock had rated us an 8/10. Next time we should have trusted everyone in the group to participate, instead of relying on certain people. Most the ingredients we had trouble getting, but this was a success. We thank all the teachers who helped us through this, especially Mrs Taylor, for lending us cheese and letting us use her room. This project could've required a little more co-operation and teamwork but it was a success.

What makes the yeast grow:  Eats sugar and starch once they eat it they make carbon dioxide that forms tiny bubbles in the bread dough.

Passion Project

We are in the process of making pizza,  everything had been done and we have left the dough to rise and we need toppings prepared on monday.We had mixed everything together and grinded the meat, and left the dough to rise. This is the progress we have made so far.
